E-Score Celebrity changed the way the industry looks at celebrity ratings. As most of our clients operate across many forms of entertainment, they came to us asking for a similar methodology for their brands. They already gathered information on their brands. However, they wanted a broader sample, a reliable indicator of behavior and loyalty, and most important, a convenient analysis tool to evaluate their brand and competitors across these multiple measures. And for many, they wanted our methodology to allow them to use E-Score Brand and Celebrity in tandem to match the best combination of attributes between the spokesperson and the product. We responded with the development of a natural extension of E-Score Celebrity by using the time tested methods in which we've been rating celebrities since 2000.
For product-to-product consistency, E-Score Brand needed to have the same underlying methodology for name/logo recognition, appeal and attributes as we have in Celebrity. However, we needed to broaden the product development to encompass the unique nature of the consumer's relationship with a particular brand. By asking consumers if they would like to be associated with the brand, or whether they recommend to family/friends, the feedback becomes richer and more actionable. Our goal was to bring in many other dimensions that give you more context and enhance the insights.
What we came away with is a flexible and dynamic brand equity rating that will give you a cost effective, industry accepted resource to evaluate your most critical asset.
