Market Research Coordinator - Entertainment - LA
E-Poll Market Research is an innovative, full service entertainment research supplier in Encino, helping clients make better decisions in a complex digital media environment. Since its founding in 1997, E-Poll has set the standard in measuring the marketability of celebrities, brands, and entertainment programs with its innovative E-Score® suite of research products.
What We Do:
E-Poll measures consumer preferences and attitudes by conducting surveys with an in-house proprietary panel. E-Poll offers clients both primary research solutions and a suite of diverse E-Score products that track celebrities, brands, programs, musicians and characters. Marketers, agencies and media companies then use E-Poll data to evaluate trends, develop marketing strategies, and identify opportunities in the marketplace.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a resourceful team player to help manage our growing suite of E-Score Product offerings. This is a key role working with some of the world's biggest media and entertainment companies, as well as a great opportunity to build a career with an innovative entertainment & media-focused research company.
- Provide support to all product teams while maintaining full ownership of timelines, data collection and data quality requirements - Ability to foresee, detect and trouble-shoot data anomalies, pay strict attention to detail, and not hesitate to get into the weeds on quality control checks - Assist clients as needed, professionally responding to client needs, questions, solving business problems that drive client satisfaction - Develop effective work relationships with other interdepartmental groups (such as technical staff, sales, and marketing). - Troubleshooting problems; resolving issues/discrepancies related to technical aspects of the product. - Assist in the creation of market and/or product-specific documentation to support internal and external clients as necessary - Keep up to date with current market trends
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in survey research, consumer research, online research, market research and/or related knowledge of survey research principles and methods. - Bachelor's degree (marketing, psychology, sociology, economics or business focus a plus). - Experience with MS Excel is a must. Must be comfortable with data analysis and able to report findings with confidence. - Have enthusiasm, be professional, proactive and conscientious - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong writing and logic skills - Able to adapt to changing priorities and timelines - You love all things entertainment such as celebrities, brands, TV programs, etc.

As a Frontend Software Engineer at E-Poll Market Research, you'll work as a member of our technology team to develop, test, and maintain our suite of web applications. Director Business Development, Research & Product Sales - NY

We work with top global media and agency companies on full service custom market research and provide our prominent array of SaaS E-Score research products.
In this position, you will work with clients to create custom research proposals for ad effectiveness, branded content evaluations and other media-based research projects. Based in our New York office, you will identify opportunities to work with new and existing clients, consult with our research team on methodology, write proposals, negotiate and follow through with client to close. You also get to sell our leading syndicated research products used by top brands, studios, TV networks and agencies: E-Score Celebrity, Brand, Character, TV Programs and Music products.
Your success is determined not only by your ability to bring new clients into the fold, but to expand existing relationships. Compensation is commensurate with demonstrated experience and performance which includes a generous commission and benefits package.
MINIMUM 3 years of experience selling custom research with demonstrated success, solid communication skills, understanding of our products, and ability to close. Prefer experience with ad effectiveness custom research projects.

Sales Representative, Research Products - LA & NY
We are a research provider to the entertainment, media and advertising sectors. As a Product Sales Representative, you will establish new business in our core markets by selling our suite of SaaS-based E-Score products that work in concert with each other. In this role, you must identify and cold call new client prospects, persuasively convey why our products are valuable to the prospect, negotiate, and close new business. A working knowledge of the media, advertising and TV landscape is critical to achieve success in this position, along with a passion for identifying and listening to client needs, and demonstrating how you can service those needs.
Your success will be determined purely by your ability to bring new clients into the fold, and to up-sell other complementary products from our portfolio.
Compensation is heavily commission based and is commensurate with experience and performance which includes a benefits package. There are many opportunities to develop and grow within the company as this product sector expands.

This crucial position will identify, cultivate and manage new and existing sources of membership for this survey panel, with an emphasis on social media, online marketing, and other partners. Position will manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers; create, curate, and manage all published content; monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating sources of membership.
Requirements: Successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree and professional background in acquisition and/or retention marketing, including proven success in customer acquisition through social media. Job Qualifications: The successful candidate will be someone with a positive attitude and good, well-rounded written and verbal communications skills who is interested in learning about market research, the entertainment industry and various marketing disciplines. Experience in graphic design, including basic understanding of HTML, image editing programs and familiarity with Excel and other business software is desired. Interest in media, entertainment and pop culture is a must.
